BedwettingAllertex bedpads

There are a number of bedpads on the market that protect mattresses, several of these have absorption qualities, however most fall well short of the Allertex bedpad enabling the person to sleep uninterrupted. In fact we are so confident of the absorption qualities that we had the Allertex bedpads tested by The Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology Textile Testing Services.

Ease of absorption and rate of spread Usual Allertex Bedpad
Mean Ease of absorption 20 Seconds 12.3 Seconds
Mean Ease of spread 30 Seconds 14.3 Seconds
Wetting Properties 3% 1.8%

BedwettingFitting the bedpad

The Allertex bedpad is designed to be placed on the bed over a flat or fitted standard single bed sheet and positioned so the absorbent surface will come in contact with the area between the user's shoulders and knees.

To prevent the bedpad from wrinkling and to ensure that it stays firmly in place, the bedpad is fitted with generous sized tuck-ins. A draw sheet is not required as the Allertex bedpad has its own waterproof backing. The Allertex bedpad can be laundered in both home and commercial washing machines.

The Allertex bedpad comes in two varieties, one with side tuck – ins and one without.
